Ask us a question
01How does SermonScribe turn sermons into book chapters?

Start with written sermon notes, an outline, or a transcript. Paste your text or import a plain-text file, then use AI-assisted drafting to develop a chapter. Edit the structure, transitions, and wording in the manuscript editor. You remain responsible for reviewing the finished chapter, including its theology and factual accuracy.

02Can I keep my own voice?

SermonScribe includes author style settings and tools to expand, condense, and refine your writing. Use your original examples and language to guide the draft, then review suggestions before accepting them. AI is a writing assistant; your judgment and final edits make the book yours.

03Do I need to be an experienced author?

No. You can start with the material you already teach. SermonScribe brings chapter drafting, editing, cover design, and export into one workspace. You will still need to choose a clear book concept, review the manuscript, and follow the requirements of your chosen publisher.

04What does the subscription cost?

SermonScribe Pro is $49 per month or $500 per year, billed in US dollars. Annual billing saves $88 compared with twelve monthly payments, approximately 15%. Both options include the same core tools. A paid subscription is required to access the book workspace.

05What formats can I export?

Export a PDF for a print publishing workflow, an EPUB for ebook readers, or a DOCX for further editing in Word or with an editor. You can adjust book typography and page settings before export. Always review the exported files and your publisher’s current requirements before uploading.

06Can I upload sermon audio or video?

The current workflow starts with written text, rather than audio or video. If your sermon is recorded, transcribe it first using your preferred transcription tool, then paste the transcript into SermonScribe. Plain-text imports are also supported.

07Can I design a cover and share my book?

Yes. The cover designer helps you work with artwork, front-cover text, and print-cover layout. You can also create a public book promotion page with a description, author information, and purchase links. Publishing a promotion page is a separate action from exporting your book.

08How are Scripture references and citations handled?

Citation tools help detect and organize references and format them in styles such as APA, MLA, Chicago, and Turabian. Check every citation against its source, confirm Scripture quotations and translation attribution, and review any permissions required for your intended publication.

09Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription through billing settings. You retain access until the end of the current billing period. Before canceling, export the manuscript and files you want to keep working on outside SermonScribe.

10Who owns my writing, and what becomes public?

You retain ownership of your content, as described in our Terms of Service. Your workspace requires an authenticated account. When you choose to publish a book promotion page, the information you put on that page becomes public. Read our Privacy Policy for details about data processing and third-party services.

11Does SermonScribe publish the book for me?

SermonScribe helps prepare your manuscript, cover, and promotion materials. You choose the publishing platform, upload and proof your files, and manage distribution. An export does not guarantee a retailer’s acceptance, and editing, permissions, and final production checks remain part of the process.

12Can I get personal help with my book?

Book a demo to talk through the software, or use our contact page to ask about editing, ghostwriting, and publishing guidance. Professional services are scoped and quoted separately from the software subscription.
